Vine officially died today. RIP Vine.
This shouldn’t come to much of a surprise to anyone, considering that Instagram, Boomerang, and Snapchat are all things that exist.
While this isn’t locally relevant, the word “Champaign” totally is to this magazine. I thought to myself, “Hmm, I wonder how many people utilized this hashtag to showcase things happening in Champaign, the city, that they wanted to post about?”
Of course there’s the #chambana hashtag which is fairly straightforward, but I thought it would be worthwhile to discuss how many people utilized “#champaign” instead of “#champagne”, the beverage.
The results will not surprise you.
