Justine Bursoni hails from Chicago. She tried as hard as possible to leave here, graduating after three years of Art History school. It was Custard Cup (and owning her own home) that forced her to stay. She now lives in downtown Champaign, is working on her master's in art education and works at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum.
All of my classes are on the south side of campus and it's hard not to notice the gigantic concrete structure on the South Quad. Don't be mistaken. It's not an advertisement for vodka. It's a new carillon bell tower: Macfarland Memorial.

I hate to throw stones at a memorial, but does anyone else consider a carillon pretty useless. I mean really. Not like you can hold classes there. Seems like the University might have encouraged another outlet for the donor's generosity.
