About Justine Bursoni

Justine Bursoni

Justine Bursoni hails from Chicago. She tried as hard as possible to leave here, graduating after three years of Art History school. It was Custard Cup that forced her to stay. She now lives in downtown Champaign and works as a nanny and at the Orpheum Children's Science Museum.

Come One, Come All

Are you itching to work at Urban Outfitters? Now here's your chance. Today in my inbox, I received an e-mail with the subject of "Urban Outfitters Champaign - Now Hiring." How did Urban Outfitters know that I live in Champaign and would like to know about job openings as a manager, display artist or merchandiser? Well, I'm not quite sure and I really don't want to work there. But perhaps you do?

So, for all you jobless fashionistas out there looking for a discount position as a manager, display artist or merchandiser, get your resume and portfolio ready. On Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Urban Outfitters will be accepting applications and running interviews in the Franz Joseph Conference Center at the Historic Lincoln Hotel, 209 S. Broadway St. in Urbana.

While the future home of Urban Outfitters at 507 E. Green Street in Campustown is hardly complete, the trendy chain store is still scheduled to open this August.
