This weekend, the Khan Outdoor Tennis Complex was the location for First and Second Round NCAA Men’s Tennis. The Illini swept Marquette 4-0 in first round play on Saturday. Then did the same with Vanderbilt in the second round Sunday doubles wins from freshmen Alex Brown and Caleb Chakravarthi; and Aron Hiltzik (senior) and Aleks Kovacevic (sophomore). The day was clinched with singles wins from sophomore Zeke Clark and senior Aleks Vukic. The men will now head to the Sweet 16 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This is their 23rd straight appearance in the NCAA tournament, and their 16th time making the Sweet 16th.
