Founded in 2007, Record Store Day celebrates the culture of the independent record shop. Observed on the third Saturday every April, visitors to Exile on Main Street in Champaign and Error Records in Urbana discovered first-hand how energetic, eclectic, and exciting the event can be. If the many new and special Record Store Day only music releases weren’t enough to satisfy, the folks at Exile made sure to include a full day of live music on not one, but two stages.
