The Overture: Aug. 26-Sept. 1

The Overture is a rundown of live music and performances happening in the Champaign-Urbana area (and the outskirts) each week. All of the information is as accurate as we can publish, but all shows and performances are subject to change at any time. Thank you for understanding.

MONDAY, August 26th

Mike Fenolio Group

► The Iron Post // cover // 7 p.m.

TUESDAY, August 27th

To our knowledge, there are no shows scheduled on this date.

WEDNESDAY, August 28th

Del Ray

► The Iron Post // cover // 7 p.m.

Weedeater, California Mummy, RedLeg

► Loose Cobra // $20 // 8 p.m.

Weedeater is a rad stoner metal band that will fit quite nicely at Loose Cobra for this Wednesday night show. You best get tickets early if you’re going to hit this one, as the limited capacity at the Cobra will make this a jam packed sweaty show.
