A trio of folk-ish outfits will get together for this one, as Chicago’s Wild Family will head it up. They were named Chicago’s Best Emerging Artist in 2013 by Deli Magazine, and they released an EP earlier this year. They’re on a bit of a small tour around these parts.

Although The Pygmalion Festival has come and gone, and what a weekend that was, there is another Show Series installment happening later this week. Saturday’s show features Chicago’s Maps & Atlases. They have an interesting combination of progressive rock and math rock, amongst plenty of other influences that are worth paying attention to. They’re joined by new-ish local outfit Capys, which fall within the same vein as Maps & Atlases.
