40 North | 88 West, Champaign County’s high brow arts and culture council, is seeking a broader range of cultural input for its programs by hosting a mixer at Ryan’s Steakhouse today.
Steven Bentz of 40 North says: “There’s nothing like networking next to the soft-serve machine. If you want real Champaign County, you have to get into the trenches and get your hands into a little chocolate pudding.”
As part of the mixer, 40 North will arrange for poets to recite poems about food at the end of the buffet line.
