Now’s your time to shine! New to the Champaign Park District’s Taste of C-U event this year is the Amateur Backyard BBQ competition, which is open to children and adults.
Sign up by August 9th to participate ($20 for kids and $30 for adults). There are some rules and regulations you’ll need to follow; those are available on the registration page. The competition takes places on Saturday, August 17th.
In addition to fame, there will be a small fourtune to be paid out to the winners.
