Sanford Hess, operator of the Art Theater, has confirmed that the Art will be hosting The New Art Film Festival (NAFF) in conjunction with the Boneyard Arts Festival and C-U Confidential. The festival will run from Thursday, April 15th until Tuesday, April 20th and showcase local, independent productions, including full-lengths, documentaries, and shorts.

To introduce the NAFF and coincide with the Boneyard Arts Festival's downtown Champaign festivities on Thursday, April 15, the Art Theater will show a loop of trailers and shorts beginning at 5 PM. Audience members can come and go easily while getting a taste of the films to come. Admission for the Thursday night event will be free of charge.

From Friday, April 16, to Monday, April 19, the NAFF will take over the Art Theater and all regular showtimes will feature NAFF selections. Matinee admission fees will apply throughout the festival.
