The Astronomy Day event will include exciting science, take-home materials, and engaging discussion about science and society. Participants will have a chance to safely observe the surface of the Sun, explore the ways our universe is expanding, build their own electroscope to detect static electricity, perform experiments with erosion, and much more! These fun activities introduce guests to the ongoing research happening at #NASA in the fields of heliophysics, Earth science, planetary science, and astrophysics, and allow them hands-on interaction with Earth and space science concepts.

Astronomy Day is happening from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 11th, and is $5 general admission, free for members.
