Kids age 5 and up are invited to audition for Champaign Urbana Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 6 at the Champaign Ballet Academy, 2810 W. Clark Road in Champaign.
Previous dance training is not required to audition but children must have been born before September 6, 2009.
Participants should pre-register for the audition at www.cuballet.com by 5pm Tuesday, September 2nd. Information about the audition process, attire, fees, and rehearsal schedule is also available at cuballet.com. Questions may be directed to CU Ballet at (217) 355-7317 or email[email protected].
Boys and girls age 6 should arrive at 9:15 a.m.
Boys and girls age 5 at 9:45 a.m.
Boys age 7 through 10 at 10:15 a.m.
Girls age 7 at 12:15 p.m.
Girls age 8 and 9 at 12:45 p.m.

For over a decade, CU Ballet has performed The Nutcracker at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. This holiday tradition continues with six performances from Thursday, December 4, through Sunday, December 7.
