Illinois basketball star Ayo Dosunmu announced yesterday he will return to the team for his junior season, the Champaign Room reports. This is huge news for Illinois basketball. Reports say Kofi Cockburn will be making an announcement today (Saturday) about his future as well.
Dosunmu had thrown his name in the hat for the NBA Draft this year, but has withdrawn, making this announcement on Twitter:
I’m also realizing now that I made a post about this very thing last year, as well, though it was more likely then he would return than it is now, no doubt.
