We are very excited to announce that Blues Blast Magazine has partnered with The Fluid Event Center in Champaign, IL to bring the 2014 Blues Blast Music Awards on Thursday, October 23rd, 2014.
“The 20,000+ sq ft event space is the second largest in the Champaign/Urbana area and equipped to bring the best Blues Blast Music Awards we’ve had yet” says Blues Blast Editor Bob Kieser. The awards ceremony will feature music by the artists nominated.Some names already announced are: Back Pack Jones, Bernie Pearl, Bobbie Rush, Dave Riley, Bob Cooritore and Blues Legend Lonnie Brooks just to name a few!
Tickets will go on sale August 1st at bluesblastmagizine.com and fluideventcenter.com
“We are so excited to be bringing the Blues Blast Music Awards to the area, this will be a big deal for the community!” says Champaign Blues Festival Director Michael Galloway. “To have national artists and international exposure is amazing and I’m excited to show the Blues Community what Champaign has to offer”. The award show has been at Buddy Guy’s in Chicago for the past six years.
Voting Is Open To The Public – Voting to determine the winners began July 15th, 2014 and will continue until September 15th, 2014 at http://www.BluesBlastMagazine.
