Will Reger has had quite a year as the City of Urbana’s inaugural Poet Laureate. And the Urbana Arts & Culture Program invites you to help celebrate his many accomplishments at a virtual event on Friday, October 30th.
The recent event announcement cites Reger’s work “leading poetry workshops and events at Urbana School District #116, Urbana Free Library, Urbana Neighborhood Connections Center & the Teen Open Lab, Young Artist’s Studio, and Analog Wine Library, among others. He’s completed school and student engagements at Urbana High School, Urbana Middle School, Urbana Neighborhood Connections Center, St.Joseph Elementary School, and Tuscola High School.” And that’s not the half of it.
So log on this Friday and celebrate the fact that good things are still happening, even in the middle of a pandemic.
