As both a thank you for supporting downtown businesses and to get more people visiting the Downtown Champaign area over the holidays, the City of Champaign will offer free parking to anyone spending $5.00 or more at any business or restaurant in Downtown Champaign during the month of December.
Be sure to save any proof of a purchase (i.e. a receipt) downtown the day you visit and show it to the cashier at the booth at the Hill Street Parking Deck to take advantage of this offer. While parking is still free on Saturdays and Sundays at Hill Street, customers can redeem up to four hours of free parking at the location Monday through Friday from 7 am to 11 pm.

Additionally, the City of Urbana will be offering up to two hours of free parking at the Downtown Urbana parking deck, so you can go get your shopping done and grab some Black Dog while you’re at it.
