Are you someone who enjoys all that our forest preserves have to offer? Then let your voice be heard. The Champaign County Forest Preserve District is looking to update their strategic plan, and they’d like to hear from the community. They are holding two public meetings for information gathering purposes:
Monday, October 28 at Lake of the Woods Pavilion, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, Mahomet, Illinois starting at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 30 at Salt Fork Center, Homer Lake Forest Preserve, Homer, Illinois starting at 6:30 p.m.
Help them develop answers to these questions:
- What is the purpose of the Preserve District and how can we better serve the Champaign County community? (Mission)
- What do we want to achieve? (Vision)
- How are we going to get there? (Plan)
