The Champaign Bark District (pun duly acknowledged) will open this Saturday, June 13. The dog park, located near the southeast corner of Windsor and Rising, has “a 4 foot fence, double-gated entry area, separate areas for large and small dogs, parking lot, and trash cans/dog waste stations.”
Go to the Champaign Park District’s website to download a membership form. Your pooch needs all their shots and tests before they can join up, and it’s $20 a year for your first dog for Champaign residents, and $6 a year for each additional dog. Here’s the full press release from last week.
