Yesterday, CU Schools Foundation hosted a “Chopped Challenge” with students from Urbana High School and Edison Middle School vying for the title of best dish. The students utilized locally-grown ingredients and had to include the use of eggs and two greens on the finished plate. Celebrity judges included many local chefs who ultimately gave first place to team Sunny Delight, which made chicken with scrambled eggs and greens on top. We sent our photographer Yuritzi to get a look at the delicious competition.
