Tara Terra’s frontwoman Emily Blue is a solo artist in her own right, and today she has released the first single from her upcoming debut solo EP, Another Angry Woman. Entitled “No Pain,” the powerful song plunges unabashedly into the subject matter of sexual violence. A survivor herself, Blue seeks to support the victims of sexual violence through togetherness and education, and emergence from silence. This last part is vital, and Blue knows it. Her song is accompanied by an equally striking video, featuring fellow survivors coming together in solidarity so that their voices are heard.
All proceeds from Another Angry Woman will go to benefit C-U’s R.A.C.E.S., a now defunded program that needs more help than ever.
