Yet another band has had to back out of this year’s Pygmalion Music Festival, as Foxygen’s Sam France has not fully recovered from complete fractures of the tibia and fibula. The news comes via Pitchfork, where the band also released a new music video for “We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors” from their 2013 album of the same name.
The bands that have pulled out of the Pygmalion lineup could put together a pretty impressive festival on their own at this point, as Foxygen join Perfume Genius, PHOX, Young Empires and Chance the Rapper. There are still plenty of great artists on the bill, however, and passes are still available for $85. The festival begins September 26.
