The Meat Science Lab on the U of I’s campus is one of the best well-known secrets in town. The butcher shop offers all sorts of meats, including bacon and jerky and eggs and sausages. To help you celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day, corned beef is available for $6.59/lb, which is quite a good price.
