Judging by all of the plant sales this weekend, it must officially be gardening season. And that means free tomato plants at First Federal!
Today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can visit either of their locations (1311 S Neil Street in Champaign or 301 W Springfield Ave in Urbana) and pick up two free tomato plants — the Super Fantastic variety.
Note: this is while supplies last, so get there early if you can, just in case.
In just a matter of weeks you will be savoring BLTs made with tomatoes fresh from your backyard.
