To kick off 2017 with some fun, Habitat for Humanity of Champaign County is hosting a fundraiser in collaboration with C-U Adventures in Time and Space which features a plethora of escape-room style collaborative living puzzles. Plus, all of the proceeds go towards Habitat’s home-building efforts in Champaign County. What’s not to love?
The event takes place in Urbana on January 12th, and tickets are available online for $35. For all relevant details, read the release from Habitat below:

When: Thursday January 12th – Sign up for either 6:00-7:00pm or 7:45-8:45pm

Your admission ticket includes one escape room adventure and food/beverage discounts @ Pizza M across Main Street in Urbana from approximately 7-8pm.
All three CU Adventure escape rooms will be reserved for this event so sign up as an individual or group for the room and time of your choice.

• Artificial Intelligence-accommodates 8 peopleChampaign-Urbana Adventures in Time and Space is an interactive real-life “escape room” game for friends, family, and coworkers! Teams of 2-8 players (THE LOST TEMPLE) or 4-10 players (THE CABIN) have 60 minutes to find clues, complete puzzles, discover secret doors, and solve a greater mystery. Each game takes place in a different themed setting and time period. From dispelling evil spirits in a haunted cabin to foiling the plot of a medieval wizard, each scenario is designed to make players feel like they are living out a movie or playing a game show! Players must use observation, communication, and critical thinking to win. Escape room adventures make for a great night out or an exciting twist on corporate team building.
