Last week I sat down with the two people in my house that suddenly have a plethora of free time for the next few months to discuss summer plans and “must do” activities, and Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Time and Space for sure made the cut.
They just added a new room to the three rooms they’ve already been running at their new-ish location at 302 Broadway in Urbana — Calling All Villians. It’s a sequel of sorts to a now retired game, Calling All Heroes. Here’s the description from their website:
Grab your super-suit and prepare for action in this superhero themed adventure! Featuring secret passages, death traps, and 2/3 of a Volkswagen, this is our largest adventure yet!
As a side note, we posted about said Volkswagon as it was being moved into the building several months ago.
This game seems worthy of a trip this summer whether it’s for family togetherness or a fun time with friends. If you are bringing kids along, they recommend that they be 10 years old and up — that’s a general rule for all of their rooms. It’s meant for 4 to 10 players, and you can book your experience here.
