On Thursday, March 4th, 2010, the Illini Union Courtyard Cafe will be hosting a dance competition. This competition will consist of different dance teams.
A week before the competition, each dance group will be given 2-3 songs that they will need to perform at the time of the event. These songs will be randomly chosen by 3 DJs and the Illinois Dance Department, and will come from a wide range of music rhythms and styles (Jazz, Hip-Hop, Salsa, etc.). The winner will be chosen by crowd response and will receive a $200 Visa gift card.
Teams must be a minimum of 3 people, but cannot include more than 12 people.
