Local band Kowabunga! Kid have been known around C-U for quite some time, but today, they have announced their debut record via Rat King Records (due out June 10th), and even furthermore, the news was premiered by the massive pop culture blog The A.V. Club.
It’s always cool when the national spotlight shines down on Champaign-Urbana, and even more cool when it focuses on one of our many musical facets.
