The Urbana Butcher Shop has posted this week’s lunch specials (December 9-14) on their Facebook page:
Tuesday: Chili con carne with creme fresco, onion, cilantro, and pickled jalapeño
Wednesday: Goat pasties stuffed with delicata squash, potatoes, parsnip & gouda
Thursday: Sonoran hot dog with white beans, lime mayo, mustard & hot sauce on a bolillo roll
Friday: Pork “pot pie” with bacon, carrots, Brussels sprouts & a buttermilk biscuit crust
Saturday: Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with kimchi, red eye gravy mayonnaise & hot sauce on a buttermilk biscuit
Lunch lasts from 11 a.m. until they run out, which is generally around 2 p.m. The Urbana Butcher Shop is located at 119 W. Main Street; they’re open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
