From the press release:

Press Release – MCORE Project Set to Reopen Green Street & Temporary Road Closure Announcement

On Friday, December 15, 2017 (by 3:30 p.m.), the Multimodal Corridor Enhancement Project (MCORE) will reopen Green Street between Neil Street and Fourth Street. Some construction activities will occur over the winter and into 2018 as temperatures allow. This work includes: street lighting; streetscape items such as pavers in parkway, bike loops, and landscaping; and permanent pavement markings. Some of this work may require lane closures, however two-way traffic will be maintained. This will allow access on Green Street from Neil Street to Lincoln Avenue

On Wednesday, December 20, 2017 Duce Construction will CLOSE Green Street at the railroad viaduct, in order to install the gateway signage at the viaduct. This closure will begin at 7:00a.m. and the street will reopen by 12:00p.m.
Businesses are open during construction and access to properties will be maintained via alternative routes.

The City of Champaign and the MCORE Project Partners, appreciate the cooperation and patience of property owners, residents, and visitors of the Campustown area during this important project. Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses. For additional information visit www.mcoreproject.com
