Brendt Christensen was sentenced to life in prison a few weeks ago after being found guilty of murdering U of I student Yingying Zhang. Next week, there will be a memorial service held in honor of Zhang at First Baptist Church, which is located at 1602 S. Prospect Avenue in Savoy. The service will be held at 1 p.m., and you can read more about it over at The News-Gazette.
