Motes have announced the follow up to their 2015 record, Keep it in the Dark, titled Crash the Day. It appears as though it’ll be released sometime this year, as the hashtag they used on the post was “#MotesLP2018”. This is good news.
Keep it in the Dark was our Album of the Year that year, and Motes returned to the studio about a year ago. Read our interview with the band from 2015.
While the clip doesn’t feature any new music, I’d imagine we’ll get some new tunes sooner rather than later leading up to the release.
