The Forest Preserve District of Champaign County will be opening its Kickapoo Rail Trail on Friday, August 25th. This 24.5 mile trail follows the former CSX railroad that ran from East Urbana to Kickapoo State Park.
The trail will be open for hiking, biking, and other non-motorized uses. To download a trail map and learn more about the trail, check out the website here.
