Beginning this Tuesday, July 28th, you can pick up a free Kid’s Kit at the Champaign Farmers Market. Each week there will be a different activity centered around things like healthy eating and gardening. This week, the kit will feature ingredients and instructions for making zucchini fries (which really aren’t fries, we all know they aren’t fries, but they are still pretty tasty).
The Kid’s Kits are available thanks to a mini-grant from Nutrition Incentive Hub and partnerships with Common Ground Food Co-op and Champaign-Urbana Public Health District.
The Champaign Farmers Market happens on Tuesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. at the corner of Neil and Washington.
