Serra Ventures is a venture capital firm located in here Champaign-Urbana, and are currently a tenant at Research Park. They will soon move to the new development on the north side of Downtown Champaign located at 520 N. Neil Street. The Gazoo announced that Serra Ventures would be the “anchor tenant” of the new five story development, which broke ground this week.
The site at 520 N. Neil St., at the southeast corner of Neil Street and Columbia Avenue, will have first-floor retail, fifth-floor office space for the Champaign-based Serra Ventures venture-capital firm and 35 one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments on the second through fourth floors and part of the fifth floor, said George Gramm, the asset and marketing manager for Morton-based Element Building, the developer and general contractor of the project.
