The 14th Annual Festival of Quilts is April 13 and 14

Now in it’s 14th year, the Cunningham Children’s Home Festival of Quilts, is coming the weekend of April 13th. In 2017, the fundraiser raised more than $76,000 for local youth and families. Check out last year’s preview of the event.

This event is free, but a $5 donation is suggested. While this is a quilt festival, the weekend holds a number of events for everyone, including:

  • QUILT SHOW with hundreds of hand and machine quilted pieces including contemporary designs as well as antique quilts on loan for the show
  • QUILT AUCTION featuring beautiful traditional and contemporary quilts and wall hangings
  • GIFT SHOP packed with generously donated handcrafted items
  • BAKE SALE with delicious homemade goodies and treats
  • QUILT BOUTIQUE with quilts, wall hangings, and table runners for purchase
  • PATCHWORK CAFE where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or an inexpensive lunch and visit with friends
  • WALKING TOURS of Cunningham’s Urbana campus to learn more about the mission and ministry of Cunningham Children’s Home
  • FEATURED SPEAKERS detailing their quilting expertise
  • RECOGNIZED GALLERY of the 2018 Boneyard Arts Festival

The festival runs from Friday the 13th until the 14th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
