The Lost Temple at C-U Adventures in Time and Space channels your inner Indiana Jones

After trying out The Cabin, my first escape room adventure at C-U Adventures in Time and Space, I was skeptical of the ability of any other theme to capture my interest. I so loved the eerie horror movie vibe. The Lost Temple, however, did not disappoint. It was a super-challenging, multi-layered puzzle that our group escaped with just over a minute to spare. As a child of the 80’s, the Temple of Doom vibe was quite appealing.

A fun aspect of the two rooms that I’ve tried is the incorporation of local actors into video clues. The Lost Temple features Gary Ambler (pictured above as a ghost), who has both stage and screen acting credits, and his most recent local turn was in Small Mouth Sounds at The Station Theater. We interviewed him back in 2013 as the director of another Station production, Sons of the Prophet.

Have you been here yet? If not, then go. Now. (I’m not trying to be bossy, it really is an extremely enjoyable way to spend an evening).
