There are three former Illini athletes headed to the Paralympics

The 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympics begin tomorrow, and there will be three athletes from the University of Illinois competing in the games.

Aaron Pike is a cross country skier and biathele, who also competed with the University of Illinois Wheelchair Basketball Team and raced with the track and field team.

Travis Dodson is another former UIUC track athlete, has competed in wheelchair marathons and half-marathons, and he’s competing in sledge hockey for the second time.

Wataru Horie played for the UIUC Wheelchair Basketball team and is competing in sledge hockey for Japan.
