This week marks the 75th anniversary of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. The Hiroshima Commemoration Committee is inviting the community to join them at the U of I Arboretum on August 5th from 6 to 6:45 p.m. in rememberance of the events.
Join us in remembering what happened when the first nuclear bomb was used against people 75 years ago and dedicating ourselves to preventing this from ever happening again. Masks and social distancing are required. Yohei and Asami Endo will play the guitar, banjo, and recorder.
