Today on SP Radio, we talk to Molly Poganski and Joel Gillespie about their new art project called Tandem: Bicycles and Artwork. The project involves bicycle-inspired posters and works of art from more than 20 designers and artists that will be displayed and for sale at Cafe Kopi in downtown Champaign. We’ll discuss how this project came together, which artists they have lined up, and why they decided to combine art and bikes.
Tandem will begin with an opening event at Cafe Kopi on Friday, October 19, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m., and the works will be continuously displayed for approximately one month afterward.
