The pool will not be available for open swimming, but there will be a specific schedule for lap swimming, water aerobics, and swim team practice Monday through Friday.
6 to 8 a.m. Lap Swim
6 to 6:50 a.m. Water Aerobics
9:30 to 10:30 a.m. UHS Swim Team
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lap Swim
11 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Water Aerobics
3:30 to 4:30 p.m. UHS Swim Team
4:45 to 8:30 p.m. Tiger Shark Swim Team
6 to 6:30 p.m. Water Aerobics
Saturdays and Sunday will be for private rentals. From Leslie Radice, Aquatics Manager:
“We are dedicated to making sure the Urbana Indoor Aquatic Center follows all CDC COVID-19 cleaning standards. Staff will be cleaning the locker rooms and high touch points at least every hour. During the times where we do not offer scheduled swims, staff will be deep cleaning the facility, including but not limited to the pool deck, locker rooms, front foyer, and stairwells.”
