The story of the Urbana Landmark Hotel has turned out to be a fairly insane situation — you can read up on the hotel’s situation here for the most part, plus the links within the SPlog — but the hotel remains unsold as of today.
After going on sale via an auction on Monday with a starting price of $1.2 million, the price increased to $3.95 million after a good back and forth auction… and didn’t reach the reserve price for seller Xiao Jin Yuan. Obviously, this is disappointing, and kind of insane if you think about how the property has devolved over the years.
