Illinois Country is the one-hour documentary that Illinois Public Media has put together which discusses “Illinois’ singular role in the history of country music in the United States”. On Voices of Illinois Country, the Illinois Country crew put together a handful of behind-the-scenes type content and other pieces of video that you won’t see in the film, which you can check out here. I found out about these particular videos by way of this interview with Mark Rubel, former owner of Pogo Studios in Champaign.
