The Champaign-Urbana landscape really meshes well with this style of photography. Our brick buildings contrast nicely with the bright green grass; people walk, exercise and interact outdoors; we have decently high buildings with great lookouts.
Even if you’re not trying to accomplish “tilt-shift” photography I would recommend, one summer evening, you venture atop some of our parking garages or buildings and look out across CU. Just remember, if you fall from those heights, you might die. So be careful.
