SP Radio Podcast: Local writers share holiday-themed tales and poems

[[mp3 sp_radio_podcast_-_holiday_stories_and_poems_with_several_local_writers]]

This week on Smile Politely Radio, former SP Editor and friend of the show Caleb Curtiss brings us a group of local writers to share holiday-themed (or very loosely holiday-esque) stories and poems.

U of I MFA students Lena Williams and Khaleel Gheba share several poems highlighting their respective styles. EIU professor Letitia Moffitt, author of the recently published Sidewalk Dancing (check out our review here), reads an excerpt from her novel. And local poet Michael Peirson offers up a couple of poems for the occasion.

Tune in and get into the holiday spirit (or not) with some great writers and some great writing.

Smile Politely Radio airs each Friday evening at 5:30 on WEFT 90.1 FM in Champaign and is available as a podcast the following week.
