We talk to Jill Guth, Chair of the Champaign Center Partnership (CCP). CCP is a relatively new organization, founded in late 2010 through a merger of the Champaign Downtown Association and the Campustown Business Group. And we figure out why it now includes the emerging Midtown district. We discuss the decision to tie all three districts together, how all the businesses get along and upcoming plans, including the Campustown 13 Thursdays promotion.
We also have the latest segment from drink/food contributor Amelia Bowen, who will be discussing three new vegetarian-friendly restaurant options in, appropriately enough, Campustown and downtown Champaign. Restaurant reviews include Casablanca Kabob House, Spoon House and Destihl.
