It’s been a few years since I last attended C-U Oktoberfest, a fundraiser for DSC. This year my schedule allowed me to attend, and I’m so glad I did. In only five years, attendance has grown exponentially; there were a whole lot of people there last Saturday night. In the future, there needs to be a better situation for getting food and/or more food vendors, as the lines were incredibly long. Likewise, there simply isn’t enough seating for attendees. Food was for sale from Destihl and Chester’s BBQ, and beer from a handful of local breweries. I had Triptych’s Oktoberfest and it was absolutely delicious. It’s a good afternoon outing with the family, but next year be sure to return after dark for music, drinks, and dancing.
