MONDAY, January 9th

The Goldman-Lewis-Olson Trio

This trio (aka The GLO Trio) is a new group, made up of Ben Goldman, Reggie Lewis, and Sam Olson.

The Urbana Hootenanny

Rose Bowl Tavern // free // 8 p.m.

Every Monday at the Rose Bowl, come hang out with some great musicians. A sort of open mic meets song share, you can expect a variety of music and performers. 

TUESDAY, January 10th

Four piece band Los Guapos perform in the Sipyard alleyway, with graffiti covered walls surrounding them. They each play their respective instrument.

Come get a taste of traditional Peruvian Chicha and Cumbia with Los Guapos.  With covers and originals, Los Guapos always entertains.

Hobnob String Band

Hobnob String Band brings you some great acoustic music, from blues to bluegrass and other styles. Catch some great harmonies, and of course some wonderful fingerpicking.

Mango Pods II

Mango Pods II is a rebirth of Mango Pods, blending jazz and popular music for an exciting night of music.

Chachi

Another round of americana happy hour at Rose Bowl, this time with Chachi bringing the tunes and great guitar playing.

Erik Lund’s Jazz Friends

Erik Lund’s Jazz Friends return to Rose Bowl, with Erik Lund on trombone, Jeff Helgesen on trumpet, George Turner on guitar, Emma Taylor on bass, and Ricardo Flores on drums.

Masquerade d’Vampire

The Darkness Underground brings a blood-curdling night of fun with a vampire themed costume and dance party.

SATURDAY, January 14th

Los Texano’z

Rose Bowl Tavern // free // 4 p.m.

Los Texanoz from Arcola provide Conjunto and Tejano music. With guitar, bass, drums, and accordion, Los Texano’z music will give you a taste of Mexico.

Motel Breakfast, 4×4 Animal Style, Bum Rush

Chicago indie-rockers Motel Breakfast stop by the Rose Bowl Tavern to bust out some tunes with the help of groovy 4×4 Animal Style and the fast-paced rockers Bum Rush.
