Monday Night House Party at the Canopy Club continues this week with three more acts. Local math-rock outfit Hank. heads things up, and they’re joined by local crew Church Booty and Bloomington’s Flaccid. A free show happening on Tuesday night is going down at Boomerang’s. Locals Cloud Gavin lead the way for this, and they’re joined by indie rock outfit Year of the Bobcat and Alabama experimental rock band Men and Mountains.

Singer-songwriter Emily Otnes and her backing band The Weekdays play Mike ‘N Molly’s on Wednesday night. They’re joined by Minneapolis psych-dream-pop duo Har-di-Har and local acoustic outfit in Tomorrow Is Already Here.

Alternative act out of California Dirty Heads take on Canopy Club mid-week. They’re currently on a short tour that they are nearing the end of and are making a stop in Urbana.

A Summer Camp Music Festival pre-party is happening on Thursday at the Canopy Club, and Sun Stereo is heading things up for them. They played Cowboy fairly recently, but they’re mixing things up a bit and performing at Canopy this week with Cosby Sweater and Soap.

I am God. is performing for this reunion show at the end of the week, as they stopped playing a while back but were local at one point. Leverage Models are back in town, and if you missed them perform with Son Lux a few weeks back, do yourself a favor and check them out.

WHAT: Justin Larkin & The Sonders, Pageant the Band, Exit Ghost

Local singer-songwriter Justin Larkin and his band are performing at Canopy Club this weekend. Pageant the band is a brother and sister act with some other members to help them out, and Exit Ghost joins as well.

Music lovers all over the world will celebrate Record Store Day this weekend, and things are going down here in C-U. Although this show is happening shortly after the other festivities at Error Records during RSD, I’ll list it here anyway. It’s a benefit show with a ton of bands, so if you’re going to be seeing music on Saturday anyway, you might as well throw a few dollars towards a good cause while you’re at it.
