David Bowie is back, after a ten-year absence, with a brand new record entitled The Next Day. As you can see, it gloriously rips off his own “Heroes” cover art, and you can listen to the album in full right now if you have iTunes, but it’s not like you’ll need that to know that the album is wonderful. You will be able to pick up your own copy at Exile on Main on Tuesday, where local musicians will be showcasing their talents with David Bowie covers. The full lineup includes The Self-Righteous Brothers, Mikael Brackett, Finer Feelings, Cody & The Gateway Drugs, the ACME Principle, Ryan Groff, Love Toy, Edward Burch and Mille Nomi.

EDITOR’S PICK: TERMINUS VICTOR, BEAR CLAW, THUNDERTRUCK
Mike ‘N Molly’s ($7) — Saturday, March 16th at 8 p.m.

Terminus Victor has taken a bit of a break in releasing new music, which marks this Saturday as a momentous occasion. They’ll be releasing their brand new record, Prevention vs. Intervention, this weekend on Heirship Records. That label has been pretty busy this year, as they just released the new Grandkids record Timeshare, last week.

Fans of Under Surveillance, are in for a treat with this new one. We though it was pretty memorable. Go buy the record at the show and support your local artists, and catch a handful of awesome bands in the process. Bear Claw and locals Thundertruck support this occasion as Terminus Victor come out of album-dormancy.

You can stream the first single from the new album below, entitled “Cue the Disclaimer,” and preorder the new album here.

WHAT: Easter, Ever Ending Kicks, Trauma Harness, Dino Bravo

WHERE: Red Herring ($5)

WHEN: Sunday, March 17th at 8:30 p.m.

This show is a bit under the radar this week, but Easter is set to play on a holiday that is not that, but in St. Patrick’s Day Sunday. This four band bill takes a couple of locals, indie-rock crew Easter and sludge metal outfit Dino Bravo, to bookend the show with Ever Ending Kicks and Trauma Harness in between. Feel free to stream Easter’s local classic “All the People That I Love the Most” below. It still rocks.
