A brand new bar and gaming parlor called Shots N Slots opens this week on Wednesday in Urbana with a grand opening on Saturday, June 17th.
Shots N Slots is a full service bar with a small menu of bites like spinach dip and hamburger pizza. One interesting thing about the bar is that the fried food like wings and spicy pickle fries are not deep-fried in oil here; they’re made in a TurboChef airfryer.
I got a sneak peek of the bar over the weekend and on the inside, there are slot machines, three pool tables, and indoor cornhole. Shots N Slots is an APA bar and plans to have pool leagues and tournaments — in addition to bag leagues and tournaments.
On the patio, there are more bags and outdoor seating. The bar hopes to host a family-friendly environment until 9 p.m.
